Vernetzungstreffen großlandschaftlicher Dialektwörterbücher (LexikoNet 4) 2024

Das vierte Netzwerktreffen großlandschaftlicher Dialektwörterbücher (LexikoNet 4) wird gemeinsam vom Wörterbuch der ungarndeutschen Mundarten (WUM) (Organisator*innen: Elisabeth Knipf-Komlósi, Márta Müller) und dem Wörterbuch der bairischen Mundarten in Österreich (WBÖ) (Organisator*innen: Alexandra N. Lenz, Philipp Stöckle) organisiert. Die Wahl als Tagungsort fiel auf Budapest, da die redaktionellen Arbeiten an dem WUM dank eines Zuschusses des Ungarischen Wissenschaftlichen Fonds ab diesem Jahr wieder aufgenommen werden konnten. 

Ankündigung

Nach erfolgreichen Netzwerktreffen in Wien (2017), Gießen (2021) und zuletzt Erlangen (2021) findet die vierte LexikoNet-Tagung am 4. und 5. Oktober 2024 in Budapest statt.

Das Netzwerk großlandschaftlicher Dialektwörterbücher (LexikoNet) dient dem Ziel, allen aktiven großlandschaftlichen Dialektwörterbüchern im deutschsprachigen Raum eine gemeinsame Plattform zu bieten, die dem Austausch dienen soll und gleichzeitig Informationen zu den einzelnen Arbeitsstellen bereitstellt.

12th International Conference on Language Variation in Europe (ICLaVE 11)

Announcement
The International Conference on Language Variation in Europe, ICLaVE, is one of the most important fora for research in the area of language variation in Europe. It aims at bringing together scholars of languages and language varieties spoken in Europe with the purpose of discussing empirical, methodological and theoretical issues in the study of language variation and change on our continent.

ICLaVE takes place in in Vienna, Austria, from July 8th to July 11th, 2024.

We are delighted to announce that the following colleagues have agreed to give a plenary at ICLaVE 12:

Call for Panels (due August 1, 2023)

The International Conference on Language Variation in Europe ICLaVE|12 invites submissions for panels in any and all areas of study related to language variation in European languages, such as sociolinguistics, dialectology, historical linguistics, psycholinguistics, phonetics, etc. 

Panel proposals must be written in English and should be submitted electronically by the panel organizer(s). Submission opens on 1 May 2023; the deadline for submission is 1 August 2023.

Panels at ICLaVE|12 will have a duration of 3.5 hours, which amounts to 7 slots total (=including introduction and/or discussion session). One slot is 30 minutes (=20min presentation +10min discussion), in order to allow conference participants to switch between sessions.

Call for Papers, Posters and Multimedia Presentations (due November 1, 2023)

ICLaVE|12 welcomes submissions for individual paper presentations, posters and multimedia presentations. The deadline for submissions is 1 November 2023.
